Post Baccalaureate Eligibility Requirements

* *A disadvantaged individual is from a family with an annual income below established low-income thresholds AND/OR a social, cultural, or educational environment such as those found in certain rural or inner- city environments that have demonstrably presented barriers to navigating admissions or access to health science careers.

Reapplicants must:

• Have been previously unsuccessful in gaining admission to medical school in the U.S.
• Have a minimum combined MCAT score of 496
• Submit a verified copy of their prior medical school application (AMCAS)

First-time applicants must:

• Submit their SAT or ACT scores if they have taken these tests SAT College Board
• Submit their official MCAT scores (by section) if they have already taken the exam
• Enter all their courses on The California Post Baccalaureate Consortium Program Application, which will calculate your GPA**

and have completed the following courses:

• One year of Biology with laboratory
• One year of Chemistry with laboratory
• One year of Organic Chemistry with laboratory
• One year of Physics with laboratory
• One semester of Biochemistry

Because the MCAT includes a section on behavioral sciences, we strongly encourage all students considering our program to complete the following undergraduate courses before applying:

• Psychology
• Statistics
• Mathematics (through Calculus)
• Sociology
• English Composition

Financial Aid
